Responsible Gaming
Gaming Should Be Fun, Not a Financial Solution
At Royal Reels NZ, we believe that online gaming should be an entertaining activity enjoyed responsibly. Gaming is never a way to earn money or solve financial problems. It should only be played with money you can afford to lose, as entertainment—similar to going to the cinema or buying a coffee.
We are committed to promoting a safe and responsible gaming environment for all our players in New Zealand.
Age Verification
You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in online gaming in New Zealand. We take age verification seriously and implement strict checks to ensure all players meet the legal requirements.
If you are under 18, please do not attempt to create an account or gamble. Gaming is not suitable for minors.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
Please be honest with yourself. If you experience any of the following signs, you may be developing a gambling problem:
- Spending more time or money on gaming than intended
- Chasing losses by gambling more to recover money lost
- Hiding your gaming activity or lying about how much you gamble
- Feeling anxious, irritable, or restless when not gambling
- Neglecting work, school, family, or social responsibilities due to gaming
- Borrowing money or using credit to fund gaming
- Experiencing mood swings or emotional distress related to gaming
- Failed attempts to cut back or stop gaming
- Using gaming to escape problems or cope with stress
- Friends or family expressing concern about your gaming habits
If you recognize any of these signs in yourself, it's important to seek help immediately.
Self-Help Tools & Player Controls
Royal Reels NZ provides several tools to help you maintain control of your gaming:
Deposit Limits
Set a maximum amount of money you can deposit within a specified time period (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once you reach your limit, no further deposits will be accepted.
Loss Limits
Set a maximum amount you're willing to lose during a gaming session. Gaming will be suspended once you reach this limit.
Time-Out/Reality Checks
Take mandatory breaks from gaming. Set reminders that display how much time and money you've spent during your session.
Self-Exclusion
If you feel you cannot control your gaming, you can self-exclude from your account for a set period (minimum 24 hours). During this time, you will not be able to access your account or place bets.
